What we run

A dozen-plus projects a year. Some start at the bar, some on a basketball court, some in front of a camera, and some in a museum.

2004

first Discover Europe edition

International

Things that reach beyond Warsaw, on a Polish and European level.

Discover Europe

An ESN photo contest with a pan-European reach. It has been running since 2004. Entries go into one of three categories: Discover People, Nature and Architecture.

National Erasmus Games

A Poland-wide sports tournament for Erasmus students. Futsal, basketball, volleyball. Been happening since 2009.

Mobility Day

A whole day devoted to going abroad. Workshops, panels, and chats with people who just got back. A good place to figure out whether Erasmus is for you.

Back from Erasmus

An event where we welcome SGH students back from exchange and put them in the same room as people still planning their trip.

Local

Daily life as an Erasmus student at SGH and in Warsaw.

Orientation Week

Seven nights out across Warsaw clubs. We run it twice a year to kick off the semester with the new wave of Erasmus students.

Zerówka

A seaside camp for around fifty people. Two weeks, plenty of stuff happening, and a solid chance that some of the friendships stick for years.

Buddy Program

Pairs each Erasmus student with an SGHer. That’s where walks around the city, nights out, and help with the tiny things that turn out to be unexpectedly hard in Polish all come from.

Mentor Program

Every incoming Erasmus student gets their own mentor. Someone who walks them through SGH and Warsaw in those first, most confusing weeks.

Manufaktura Kultury

Our cultural arm: theatres, museums, exhibitions. We drag students off campus to show them Warsaw is not only clubs and the library.
