Our team

ESN SGH is one of the student organisations based at the Warsaw School of Economics. What we do is pretty simple: we help international students settle into the university, figure Warsaw out, and pick up a bit of Polish culture along the way.

Day to day we work closely with the International Programmes Centre, the office that handles the paperwork side of the exchange. Each semester somewhere between 250 and 350 exchange students land in Warsaw. The weeks around their arrival are easily the busiest of the year; there’s pretty much always someone who needs a hand.

What sets us apart is openness and, honestly, just being nice to each other. The motto is also about growing together and making room for everyone’s personal goals. Our projects are how most people end up making close friends, picking up languages, sharpening real skills and getting their first taste of working in a proper team.
